Saw your post about 5 gallon cans. Let me help you understand the need. Folks with tractors and ATVs are filling off road vehicles with tanks that are often 3-5 gallons, sometimes more. Filling a dozen or so one gallon cans would be fairly impractical and costly, as the 1 gal can costs about 3/4 of what a 5 gallon one costs.

Looking at your profile we have a lot in common. I am from Texas, was born in June, am retired, have a BS in petroleum engineering from The University of Texas and enjoy the same food plus Beef Steak and good Chili. Also, I am a born again Christian and certialy love your Bible Quote. Of course our favorite sports team may not be the same since I am a hugh New Orleans Saints fan.

Perhaps this will happen. The pipeline presently approved will certainly relieve pressure on storage in Oklahoma. How the price will be affected remains to be seen, since the oil will have to be processed and if it leads to a surplus of gasoline perhaps the price will drop. The line from Canada has not be approved from which a lower priced oil can be moved to the Gulf Coast and you would think lower the price of gasoline. At any rate, it would allow less dependency on Far East Oil. Happy New Year. Just my opinion whatever thats worth, Everybody has one.

The Federal TSP leaves a great deal to be desired compared to the typical private sector 401(k) plan. They also get to pay a good chunk of their health insurance, while I get to pay $20 a month and I'm a retiree.
